Angel Reese has widely been considered the anchor for the Chicago Sky over the past two WNBA seasons.
Reese joined the team last season and has since served as the Sky's Swiss Army knife.
She's proven to be one of the best rebounders in the WNBA and has even shown versatility on the offensive end with her scoring and facilitating.
On Thursday, before the Chicago Sky face Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream, Tyler Marsh shared some news on Reese.
Marsh revealed that Reese continues to be day-to-day, currently nursing a back injury. He also mentioned that while she has been inactive, Reese is involved in meetings and is focused on returning to game action.
"Reese has been involved in meetings, and right now she’s focused on her back rehab," Marsh said. "Reese is still day-to-day."

Angel Reese has played two games over the past several weeks. She's coming off her second WNBA All-Star game appearance in two seasons, but the injury has slowed down the Sky star's development.
While Reese has been sidelined, the Sky have leaned on several other players like Kamilla Cardoso, Elizabeth Williams and Ariel Atkins to contribute on both ends of the floor.
Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has posted 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
Reese leads the Sky in rebounding and is one of the team's top scorers, especially in the painted area, thriving off her offensive rebounding under the basket.
