The Denver Nuggets have one of the league’s most interesting stars, and it might be time for the world to hear just how interesting he is.

Over the past few years, Nikola Jokic has dominated the NBA. From winning three MVPs to securing the NBA title and Finals MVP in 2023, there isn’t anything that Jokic has left to prove in terms of basketball.

Of course, with Jokic still only being 30 years old, there is plenty of basketball left in his future. However, with former teammate DeMarcus Cousins recently saying that Jokic considered retirement a few years ago, the days of the Serbian star on an NBA court could be numbered.

With Jokic’s love of horses and nonchalant view of the NBA’s drama, when he calls it quits, he might not be in the spotlight at all anymore. That’s where Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes has a perfect idea.

In his recent article naming a player on every team who needs a podcast, Hughes selected Jokic for the Nuggets. Sure, there might be a general sentiment that there shouldn’t be more NBA podcasts, but it’s hard to believe anyone would protest a Jokic show.

While there are plenty of things Jokic could talk about, Hughes’ vision for his podcast is a show centered on horses. As Hughes explained, the best podcasts feature a topic the host is passionate and knowledgeable about, and Jokic’s love for horses would certainly fit that bill.

Although hearing one of the best passers in league history talk about basketball would be great too, it would be especially fitting for the three-time MVP to host a podcast strictly talking about his favorite hobby.
