The Phoenix Suns have been predicted to send Jalen Green and Khaman Maluach to the Atlanta Hawks for two players in a blockbuster offseason trade.
Suns Predicted to Trade Jalen Green, Khaman Maluach to Hawks for $276 Million Duo originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
It has been a busy offseason thus far for the Phoenix Suns as they have made major changes to their roster after missing the playoffs last season.
Phoenix began the offseason by trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for a package centered around Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the pick they used to select Khaman Maluach.
They then selected Maluach, Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea during the 2025 NBA Draft while also pulling off a trade with the Charlotte Hornets for Mark Williams.
Phoenix then signed Devin Booker to a massive contract extension, making him the focal point of their future after ending their big three by trading Durant and buying out Bradley Beal.
With these moves, the Suns have completely remade their roster this summer and they will enter next season looking to turn their franchise around after some disappointing seasons.
While the Suns have made a ton of moves thus far, more moves could be on the way as they have been linked to multiple players, including Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young.
The Hawks have yet to offer Young a contract extension and because of this, the star point guard has emerged in recent trade rumors once again with the Suns being named as a potential destination.

Suns predicted to send three players to Hawks for Trae Young
With this is mind, Sports Illustrated’s Connor Moreno recently released a mock trade that would see the Suns send Green, Brooks and Maluach to the Hawks for Young and Onyeka Okongwu.
This would be a massive trade for the Suns to make and one that would also be a tough one for them to pull off.
Of course, the Suns acquired all three players in the Durant trade and while adding Young to their backcourt alongside Booker would make them one of the best backcourts in the NBA, they would also be moving on from three players who should have a large role next season.
Despite this, the Suns would add a much-needed three-point shooter and playmaker to their starting lineup in Young and Okongwu would also give them another young center to improve their frontcourt after last season’s struggles.
While that may be the case, moving on from three key players who have yet to suit up for their franchise would be a major risk, especially with them having to sign Young to a contract extension.
