Carolina Panthers defensive star Derrick Brown believes quarterback Bryce Young is coming into his own and showing more of his personality.

The Carolina Panthers started to find success late last season with young quarterback Bryce Young, and leaders on the team are starting to take notice. Coming into his third season in the NFL, Young is showing growth on the field under head coach Dave Canales, and as a leader on the team, he's showing more of himself and his personality.

While on her training camp tour across the league, media personality Kay Adams of the 'Up And Adams Show' stopped by the Panthers on Friday and spoke to several players, including defensive star Derrick Brown. As one of the leaders in the locker room, Brown told Adams that Young is showing more of his personality and becoming more comfortable.

"He finished the season strong last year, then came in here in the Spring and attacked it full tilt. I can't say enough about him. He's definitely a leader on this team, guys respect what he has to say. He's coming into his own personality, getting loose, and we get to see that side of him instead of shy, quiet Bryce."

If the Panthers want to take the next step to contend in the NFC South, they'll have to lean on the play of and leadership of Young.

Coming into his second season with Canales and a revamped offense around him, Young has the weapons and coaching to take his game to the next level this year.
