The Buffalo Bills star linebacker has a simple task for the 2025 season.
The Buffalo Bills have had a bad string of injury luck to begin training camp. Their number of players who have missed practice due to injury is already in the double-digits after one week. And while none of the injuries are seen as anything serious or season-threatening, it is a bit of a concern to see so many players missing time.
However, one player who has remained healthy is star linebacker Matt Milano. The Bills' star missed over a year of action from 2023 to 2024 with leg and bice injuries, but is hoping to log a complete season in 2025. Defensive coordinator Bobby Babich was asked about Milano, and his message to the star linebacker after a week of practices.
"Stay healthy," Babich said.
Milano reworked his contract this offseason, making him a free agent in 2026 and reduces his 2025 base pay to $3.6 million. The Boston College product is entering his ninth season in Buffalo. He has 504 career tackles and 10 interceptions.
