NFL Madden 26 is set to hit the stores on August 14, and Travis Hunter's two-way potential has earned him a huge rating. The Jacksonville Jaguars' first-round pick is among the most anticipated rookies as teams gear up for the 2025 NFL season.

EA announced on Monday the seven stars who have joined Madden 26's '99 Club' this year. On Tuesday, it was the top 10 rookies' turn to know their ratings, and Hunter came out on top.

Hunter's dual role has been the talk of the town this offseason, even though he has proven himself at the College level, catching 96 passes for 1,258 yards, 15 touchdowns, and four interceptions last season with the Buffaloes and clinching the Heisman Trophy.

While experts have concerns about Hunter's ability to live up to the promises, EA seems to have a lot of trust in the youngster's potential. New York Jets quarterback James Winston revealed the top rookies' first-ever Madden rating.

Winston asked Hunter his expected Madden 26 rating before the grand reveal.

"I'd probably say like a 78," Hunter said.

But to his surprise, Hunter was rewarded with an 84 rating, the highest among the rookies. While his strength is rated 61, the No. 2 overall pick's change of direction and jumping have received a whopping 96. He seemed disappointed by the strength.

"Oh, no. 61 strength, though. That strength is bad," Hunter said.

The Jaguars' rookie was followed by the Raiders' Ashton Jeanty (83), the Giants' Abdul Carter (81), the Browns' Mason Graham (80), the Patriots' Will Campbell (79), the Falcons' Jalon Walker (79), the Dolphins' Kenneth Grant (78), the Broncos' Jahdae Barron (78), the 49ers' Mykel Williams (78), and the Bills' Maxwell Hairston (78).

EA will release the full rookie list later today. The offense and defense will be revealed on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. They will pull the curtains on the ratings week on Friday with a full reveal and superstar X-factors.

Hunter will play both offensive and defensive snaps for Jacksonville, lining up as a cornerback and a wide receiver. He has warned the opponents about his catching skills and believes he can play all snaps.
