When you think about the journey from the college ranks to making an NFL roster, it is probably difficult to truly understand the in’s/out’s of making it. Just adjusting to the physicality and mental portion of the game and unless you have been there yourself, it truly is a journey.
However, HBO Hard Knocks had an inside look at former Army linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo and his attempt to make the Buffalo Bills final roster, which was officially determined yesterday (8/27) by all NFL teams.
Ciarlo was released by the Bills and his has been reported that he signed back with the team to their practice squad. So, the journey is not over by any stretch of the imagination and perhaps, only really beginning.
