The Indiana Fever are looking to bounce back from an unfortunate loss.

Indiana has won six of its last 10 games, recently stumbling to the Dallas Wings, but they'll have a chance to pick up a win when they face the Washington Mystics.

Ahead of the matchup against the Mystics, Indiana made a change to its roster, announcing on Thursday its signing of guard Kyra Lambert to a seven-day contract.

After Lambert practiced with the Fever, she shared some high praise for the WNBA team.

"I mean this is a first class organization," Lambert said. "Everybody has been so welcoming, so nice, so kind. Everybody is here helping each other. The goal is to win. The goal is to get another championship. I’m really excited to be here and I’ve definitely felt the love getting here."

Kyra Lambert is set to play in her first WNBA season. She split her collegiate playing days with Duke and Texas. While she has yet to play in the WNBA, Lambert has a ton of professional experience.

Lambert has played for the following teams overseas: France (Toulouse), Latvia (TTT Riga), New Zealand (Whai), Slovakia (Slavia Banska Bystrica) and Turkey (Karsiyaka).

Kyra Lambert is looking to help solve the backcourt problems of the Fever, who are dealing with injuries to guards Caitlin Clark, Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson.

While McDonald and Colson were dealt season-ending injuries, Clark has yet to be ruled out for the entirety of the season but there is still no timetable for her return.
