The Pittsburgh Steelers practiced on Tuesday, although there was a bit of a scare regarding veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
A photo surfaced of Rodgers being seen with a bag of ice on his right leg and a trainer tending to him during the practice session.
While fans immediately worried, especially after Rodgers tore his Achilles two seasons ago with the New York Jets, those thoughts subsided after an update from Brian Batko of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
"Aaron Rodgers got bumped or stepped on in an 11-on-11 rep and got his right ankle/shin wrapped on the last practice of training camp in Latrobe. That’s off and he’s back to work in team periods, hasn’t missed any reps," Batko wrote on X.

After practice, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin also addressed the incident.
“He just got stepped on. It was nothing any nothing of any significance. He finished his work," Tomlin said via Mike DeFabo of The Athletic.

Nonetheless, Tomlin doesn't seem too concerned about the 41-year-old quarterback.
What Tomlin Likes About Rodgers
After practice, Tomlin also spoke about what he has seen so far in Rodgers' game, via 93.7 The Fan.
"He loves football, I think that is the thing that's on the tip of my tongue," Tomlin said. "He displays it daily. He has a love affair with this game, one that he's willing to share with others, be passionate about it, and it's contagious."
Rodgers does love football, and coming back for one more year was something he strongly debated after a long career before deciding to come to Pittsburgh.
What the 2025 season looks like for the Steelers remains to be seen, although they also acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf in a blockbuster trade with the Seattle Seahawks.
The latest odds from BetMGM have the Steelers at +550 to win the AFC North behind the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, who are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
But for now, Steelers fans' excitement can continue after it looks like Rodgers avoided a serious injury.
