The QB is special.

It may have just been the second half of a preseason opener that oddly ended in a 23-23 tie.

But this was Seattle Seahawks' fans first look at rookie QB Jalen Milroe, the No. 92 overall pick out of Alabama.

And yeah, the dude can play.

Milroe went 6-for-10 passing for 61 yards and had three runs for 38 yards, a 12.7 yards per carry average.

The most exciting part was certainly his work on the ground.

He has the potential to help Seattle even this season as the potential QB3, because in specialty packages, he can run the ball in a way very few quarterbacks have ever run it.

Watch how he glides past people on this play:

He also throws a sharp spiral and has a lot of arm strength.

As a passer, it'll be about getting Milroe consistently on time and on target. When he gets to the point of making the correct reads and having the consistent mechanics required for on-point accuracy, he'll definitely have the strength in his right arm to make any throw.

The only thing Milroe couldn't manage was a victory.

The Seahawks actually had to block a field goal at the buzzer to keep the game tied 23-23.

Since it's preseason, the contest didn't continue into any sort of overtime. It's just a tie at the end of regulation.

Quite bizarre, but welcome to the NFL preseason, where weird things happen.

Cool things happen, too, though, and Milroe is definitely one of those cool things.
