The season is looking like an exciting one for the Packers. USA Today believes they could very well be in a position to make it to the Super Bowl if these things happen.

The Green Bay Packers are generating significant hype this season and look more promising than they have in years. Quarterback Jordan Love will largely dictate how the season plays out—for better or worse.
“It’s Jordan Love time. Only one offensive player on the roster (two-time Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins), and three players in total, predate the quarterback’s time with the team. He’s on a top-of-market deal, so the onus is on him to start lifting his teammates rather than the other way around. The roster’s still solid, but competitions at left tackle and receiver will help set the course for how far the team can go, and Love’s work through any bumps at those spots will be key,” SI’s Albert Breer wrote.
The goal for the Packers this season is clear: win the Lombardi Trophy. Rookie receiver Matthew Golden has made that goal abundantly clear.
“Definitely want to go get that [Lombardi] trophy, man,” Golden told KPRC’s Aaron Wilson. “That’s the question mark we got in our team room is just filling in that blank. That’s the last thing we need in that team room and, for us, that’s all we talk about at practice is getting that trophy.”
As the team heads into the preseason opener, head coach Matt LaFleur revealed that he decides whether starters play based on statistics. With the Super Bowl as the ultimate target, USA Today predicted the Packers will win the NFC North and outlined the key factors they must address to reach the big game.
“Unlike the rest of their divisional rivals, they should benefit from continuity. And if QB Jordan Love remains healthy, rookie Matthew Golden makes the consistent impact not always provided by this receiving corps and they get off to a strong start – and the early part of the schedule seems to set up nicely – the Pack might just find themselves in the Super Bowl,” Nate Davis wrote.

The offense will be the driving force behind the Packers’ success—particularly the connection between Golden and Love. If they can develop strong chemistry that opens up the rest of the field, this offense could be dangerous. Green Bay has plenty of faith in this team. As long as the defense holds its own, the offense looks poised to take care of the rest.
