The Phoenix Suns have had a busy offseason thus far as they have completely revamped their roster after moving on from two of their star players to officially put an end to their big three era.

Of course, the Suns traded Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets to begin the offseason and they also bought out Bradley Beal’s contract, leaving Devin Booker as the lone star still in Phoenix.

They also signed Booker to a massive two-year contract extension that makes him the centerpiece of their roster for years to come.

While the Suns have made some drastic changes this offseason, they have done a solid job of adding talent to their roster with Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Khaman Maluach, Mark Williams and others.

Despite this, Phoenix is still expected to miss the playoffs next season, though they may not be done making moves this offseason.

With this in mind, Sports Illustrated’s Jackson Caudell and Rohan Raman recently released a mock trade that would see the Suns send Green to the Sacramento Kings.

In the trade, the Suns would send Green and Nick Richards to the Kings for DeMar DeRozan, Malik Monk, Vit Krejci, a 2027 first-round pick.

Phoenix would also send Royce O’Neale to the Atlanta Hawks for two second-round picks.

This is an interesting trade for every team involved and one the Suns may not want to make as they would swap an emerging star in Green for two veterans in DeRozan and Monk.

Despite this, adding DeRozan and Monk to their roster next to Booker would be solid additions.

DeRozan is a great scorer who could work well next to Booker in the backcourt while Monk would give them a much-needed scoring spark off the bench.

While that may be the case, moving on from Green would be a tough decision for the Suns to make, though it may end up being the case if he and Booker do not work out in the backcourt to start next season.

Phoenix would also be moving on from Richards, which would hurt their frontcourt depth and because of this, the Suns would likely hold off on making this trade.
