Congratulations Pouring In For NFL Legend Charles Woodson originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

From 1998-2015, Charles Woodson became one of the best cornerbacks in NFL history during his time with the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers. The former Heisman Trophy winner made eight All-Pro teams, was the 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and even helped the Packers win Super Bowl XLV.

But following his football career, Woodson worked as an analyst for ESPN and is currently attached to Fox Sports. But the Hall of Famer has ventured into other businesses as well.

Charles Woodson's Whiskey Brand Gets Big Update

To begin the 2020s, Woodson transitioned into the entrepreneurial world, starting his own whiskey brand called Woodson Bourbon Whiskey. The alcoholic beverage has won numerous awards, including a gold medal at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and even became the official bourbon of the Las Vegas Raiders (formerly Oakland).

But Woodson had an even bigger update to share on Thursday, unveiling that Woodson Bourbon Whiskey will not only represent the Raiders, but it will also represent the Pro Football Hall of Fame with a "Limited Edition Pro Football Hall of Fame Kentucky Bourbon." Only 1,500 bottles will be sold at $80 per.

"Enshrinement Weekend is here!" Woodson Whiskey wrote on Instagram. "To celebrate Woodson Whiskey becoming an Official Partner of Pro Football Hall of Fame, we’ve launched our Limited Edition Pro Football Hall of Fame Kentucky Bourbon, finished with cognac staves, aged 5 years, and hand-numbered out of only 1,500 bottles. 🧥🥃"

Within the social media post also came a message from Woodson himself.

"It’s an incredible honor for Woodson Whiskey to be recognized as an Official Partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Hall represents the very best of the game and the legacy of those who have given everything to the game of football. Together, we plan to help celebrate the excellence and tradition that continue to inspire generations of players and fans alike."

What's Different About Charles Woodson's Hall of Fame Whiskey?

As mentioned above, Woodson's Pro Football Hall of Fame Bottle will be a limited-edition release of just 1,500 bottles, each individually hand-numbered and featuring the official Hall of Fame logo. Unlike other Woodson Whiskey offerings aged for two to three years, this special edition has been aged for five years, allowing a richer, more developed flavor.

A portion of the proceeds from the 1,500 bottles sold will also go to charitable initiatives from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Woodson Whiskey also added some of the Hall of Fame Bottle's tasting notes on his website.

  • Nose (Smell): "Toasted oak, cherry, stone fruit, and sweet honey notes."
  • Body(Taste/Texture): "Silky smooth consistency with layers of caramel, baking spices, dried fruit, and vanilla."
  • Finish (Aftertaste): "Subtle hints of tobacco balanced by toasty oak and a slightly sweet, fruity complexity."

Other options included at Woodson Whiskey are numerous bottles representing his former teams, the Raiders and Michigan Wolverines, and a "Blackout" bottle that comes with an autographed mini helmet.
