🚨 BREAKING: Díaz debuts as Bayern Munich kick off pre-season with Lyon win

Bayern Munich kickstarted their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 win over Lyon.

Michael Olise broke the deadlock early in the second half from the penalty spot after new signing Luis Díaz was hauled down shortly after making his debut.

The France international doubled his tally just ten minutes later by sliding home following a defence-splitting pass from Serge Gnabry in the build-up.

Lyon halved their deficit in the closing stages courtesy of Alejandro Gomes Rodríguez drilled in a reducer following a move against the run of play.

Vincent Kompany's side will entertain Europa League holders Tottenham in their next pre-season encounter at the Allianz Arena on 7 August.
