Bills linked to Micah Parsons trade after Cowboys star requests out

This would be massive.

Micah Parsons wants out of Dallas.

The Cowboys haven't been able to find good negotiating ground as the superstar pass rusher enters the final season of his contract.

Parsons is due for a record-setting deal. And for whatever reason, Jerry Jones isn't quick to give it to him.

In a Friday social media post, Parsons wrote in part:

"Yes I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet. I wanted to play in front of the best fans in sports and make this America's Team once again. The team my pops and I grew up cheering for way up in Harrisburg, Pa. Unfortunately, I no longer want to be here. I no longer want to be held to closed door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans and my teammates. I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me."

And now, everyone wants to know where Parsons might end up, if he is indeed traded.

Pro Football Talk insider Mike Florio has suggested the Buffalo Bills as a destination.

"The best candidates would be a contending team that hopes to go all in," Florio wrote. "Their first-round picks would likely be low. The impact Parsons makes could be significant. The obvious candidates are the Bills and the Ravens. Both want to get past the Chiefs. Parsons could help make that happen."

The Bills seem like they'd be interested in such a move based on their prior activity this offseason. They were linked as a candidate to trade for Browns superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett before he signed his extension in Cleveland.

Parsons would be like having Josh Allen on defense, too.

Many are speculating that the Cowboys won't actually trade Parsons. But if they do, Florio is right: The Bills should be on the phone.
