Lawson Lovering is sticking around.
The Memphis Grizzlies want a longer look at Lawson Lovering.
The 7-foot center out of Utah made 62.5% of his shots at Summer League, and Memphis is intrigued.
The Grizzlies signed Lovering to an Exhibit 10 deal, according to DraftExpress. That kind of contract incentivizes a player to stick with the Memphis team in the G League if he doesn't earn a better deal from the Grizzlies.
Lovering played 13 minutes per game in Summer League, averaging 3.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

He started his college career at Colorado, but it's with the Utes that he broke out.
In 2024-25, Lovering started all 28 games he played. He put up 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and an impressive 2.7 assists per game.
Lovering's length plus basketball sense give him a chance to stick around the professional ranks. Not every big guy can pass like him, and you can't teach height.
