FC Bayern picked up a massive win!
Admittedly, Bayern Munich center-back Jonathan Tah did not love everything he saw in the first half of the team’s 5-1 victory over RB Leipzig.
However, Tah was quick to note that head coach Vincent Kompany did not lay into his squad for what most observers considered a subpar first half performance.
“We didn’t get off to a good start in the first half. We had no rhythm. We weren’t aggressive enough defensively and didn’t do well with the ball. The coach wasn’t loud at half time. He just told us not to be hectic and that we can turn it around. We were much better in the second half and deservedly won the game,” Tah said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Tah, who scored a goal, was a big part of Bayern Munich’s effort in making several key defensive plays in the second half. In the end, the Bavarians needed to dig deep to rally for the victory and on this day — against a really good opponent — Bayern Munich was successful.
