Chelsea are set to look for a loan move for Spanish striker Marc Guiu in the summer given his lack of game time according to reports.
The Blues signed Guiu from Barcelona for £5m after activating the release clause in his contract, but the 20-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
Guiu made 16 appearances in all competitions last season, and scored six goals, all of which came in the Conference League.
Chelsea set to loan out Marc Guiu for next season
Guiu was initially loaned to Sunderland last summer, but was recalled after Liam Delap picked up a hamstring injury at the end of August.
The striker has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals, including one in the Champions League.

Liam Rosenior praised Guiu for his performance against Charlton in the FA Cup, but the youngster failed to impress against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
With Delap now fit again, the former Barcelona star has fallen back down the pecking order, and with Emmanuel Emegha arriving in the summer it’s hard to imagine him at the club next season.
In a Q & A for Football London, journalist Bobby Vincent was asked about the Spaniard and provided the following update.
“Chelsea are set to look for a loan for Marc Guiu next summer, too, given their initial plan was for the striker to spend the season at Sunderland.”
Emmanuel Emegha to arrive from Strasbourg in the summer
How many opportunities Guiu will get between now and the end of the season remains to be seen, but it’s clear his future lies away from the club.

The Blues have Emegha arriving from Strasburg at the end of the season, and the expectation is the Dutch international will go straight into the first team squad and compete for minutes.
Emegha scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season, and has worked with Rosenior during the 41-year-old’s time in charge of Strasbourg.
