Ryin Miller, a top distance runner in Kansas, has announced she will compete for Arkansas in college.
Seaman High School distance runner Ryin Miller will take her talents to Arkansas for college. Miller is one of the top high school runners in Kansas.
The senior-to-be won the Class 5A 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter titles this past spring. Miller also set a state record in the 1,600, a time which placed her eighth in the country, according to The Topeka-Capital Journal.

"I am so excited to announce my commitment to the University of Arkansas to continue my athletic and academic career," Miller wrote on social media.
During the cross country season last year, Miller broke the state record in the 5K with the fastest time at 16:32.62. She was also the 2024-25 Gatorade Kansas Girls Track and Field and Cross Country Player of the Year.
Miller's fastest times are 56.81 in the 400-meter dash, 2:09.28 in the 800-meter run, 4:41 in the 3,200 and 10:13.97 in the 3,200 to go along with her cross country time in the 5,000.
