To say it has been a chaotic night of action in the Premier League would be an understatement - but no game encapsulated the word more than Newcastle's seven-goal thriller against Leeds United at St James' Park.

Brenden Aaronson opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, before Harvey Barnes levelled things up minutes later.

Daniel Farke's side were, however, awarded a penalty which was calmly converted by Dominic Calvert-Lewin moments before the break to put the visitors back in front.

Joelinton thought he'd levelled things again in the second half, but Aaronson then scored his second of the night to put Leeds ahead for a third time.

Aaronson somehow went from hero to zero as the clock ticked over into additional time as he conceded a penalty for handball, which Bruno GuimarĂ£es cooly scored to level things up once again.

Yet, as if that wasn't enough drama, in the dying seconds of the game, Barnes scored a second to clinch a last-gasp victory for Newcastle.

The goal was scored on 101 minutes and 48 seconds, making it the latest winner on record in a Premier League match, according to Opta.

The result moves Eddie Howe's side up to sixth in the league standings, level on 32 points with Manchester United.
