Newport County have signed Harrison Biggins on loan until the end of the season from fellow League Two strugglers Shrewsbury Town.
The 29-year-old midfielder joins after only making six appearances for the Shrews this season.
Biggins has made more than 200 EFL appearances and Christian Fuchs will hope he provides depth and experience to the Exiles' relegation battle.
After a fruitful spell at Doncaster Rovers and before that Fleetwood Town, Biggins joined League Two Shrewsbury Town back in 2024.
However, Biggins has struggled to settle since his move to Shropshire and spent time on loan at Carlisle United last season.
Biggins, whose signing follows the news that Nathaniel Opoku has extended his loan until the end of the season, could make his Exiles debut in against Tranmere Rovers at Rodney Parade on Sunday.
