$8.5 Billion NFL Owner Reportedly Set to Go All-In on Arch Manning if He Declares for 2026 Draft

Arch Manning is heading into his third season of college football with just two career starts under his belt, yet is still generating as much buzz as any quarterback. Now, much of this excitement could stem from his grandpa being New Orleans Saints legend Archie Manning, and his uncles Peyton and Eli Manning having won two Super Bowls apiece. One team in particular that is reportedly salivating over the thought of Manning leaving Texas after this season is the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Tony Rizzo.

However, in this limited action, Manning has showcased his massive arm talent that pairs beautifully with him being able to run over 20 miles per hour.

Even with there being signs that he won't be declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, teams around the NFL are still hopeful he'll change his mind. One team in particular that is reportedly salivating over the thought of Manning leaving Texas after this season is the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Tony Rizzo.

"I know he would not admit it and I know it's nothing that they want to talk about," Rizzo said. "But I'm telling you the thirst that Jimmy Haslam has for Arch Manning is unmatched, unmatched. You know the connection...The Haslams donated a ton of money to Tennessee, they have a relationship with Manning family. I don't think it's a coincidence they acquired a second first-round pick. I don't know whether this kids coming out or not, it was described to me by a billionaire that said 'In a perfect world, that guy would be in Cleveland next year.'"

The Browns have a complicated quarterback situation with 40-year-old Joe Flacco, former first-round bust Kenny Pickett, 2025 third-round pick Dillon Gabriel and 2025 fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders.

However, assuming Manning is what people are hoping, no one would fault Haslam, who Forbes values at $8.5 billion, for taking a chance.
