One Chicago Bears 2,263-yard receiver named player to watch at training camp.
During the 2025 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected Michigan tight end Colston Loveland with their first-round pick.
Loveland should be able to contribute to the team from Day 1, which will help the offense get going.
Loveland wasn't the only offensive player the Bears selected high, and the team also selected Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden in the second round.
Unlike Loveland, Burden isn't expected to be the No. 1 player at his position, with receivers D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze ahead of him, but he can still make an impact this season.
With Bears training camp starting this week, Gene Chamberlain from Bears On SI thinks Burden is a "player to watch" during camp this summer.

"He'll be watched closely because he didn't get any work after rookie camp and the slot receiver is so important in this attack," Chamberlain wrote. One of his great strengths is viewed as yards after the catch and Johnson's offense in Detroit led the league in this stat last year. How quickly he fits into the offense without needed offseason exposure is huge."
In 38 games at Missouri, Burden recorded 2,263 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns and fell to the second round after being mocked as a first-rounder for most of the offseason.
Burden could take over as the Bears' No. 3 receiver this season and then position himself to be the No. 2 or even No. 1 receiver in 2026.
