Crowe becomes the first Top 10 player on 247Sports and ESPN 2026 player rankings to commit to a program. The 6'3 combo guard ranks 6th in the nation on the former, and 4th on the latter. He also becomes the highest ranked prospect to commit to Mizzou since Michael Porter Jr.
The Inglewood, California, product has been impressive over the past four days in the EYBL Circuit, helping the Oakland Soldiers to a 2-2 record averaging 26.5 points and 3.25 assists.
While just a few weeks ago, Crowe was seen as a big candidate for Kentucky, a story released by Joe Tipton with On3 on July 6th shared that the Tigers are more in the conversation than expected.

The post gained a lot of momentum, and the Mizzou community on X started to campaign for the top prospect.
"FIRE ME UP," one Mizzou fan said in a repost of the quote.
Crowe joins his dad, who will reportedly be joining Mizzou's staff. The information on that hire has not been released.
There'll be plenty of opportunity for the combo guard during his freshman season — as many people are expecting him to be a one-and-done. Assuming Anthony Robinson II declares for the 2026 NBA Draft, Crowe would compete for minutes against Sebastian Mack, a UCLA transfer with two years of eligibility remaining; Aaron Rowe, an incoming freshman out of Columbia with loads of potential; and T.O. Barrett, whose entering his second year in black and gold.
Jason Crowe Jr.’s commitment marks a major recruiting win for Dennis Gates and the Missouri basketball program — one that signals Mizzou’s growing influence on the national stage. Landing a top-10 talent like Crowe, especially over blue bloods like Kentucky, shows that the Tigers are not just in the conversation — they’re a destination. With a strong freshman class and rising talent already in place, Crowe’s arrival sets the stage for a potentially electric 2026 season in Columbia. Missouri fans have every reason to be fired up.
