Travis Hunter is poised for an explosive debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, as he showcases his dynamic skills at both wide receiver and cornerback to the league and fans.
Earlier this year, Jacksonville took a significant risk in trading up to get Hunter with the second pick in the NFL Draft. However, his ability to play offense and defense, as displayed in his Heisman Trophy-winning season at Colorado, attracted the team to Hunter.
He's since signed a four-year, $46.65 million contract, including a $30.57 million signing bonus paid upfront. Hunter made history as the first non-quarterback to get that bonus upfront.
He'll look to make more history when he gets on the field, including the potential to contend for the Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year awards. That will depend on how much he plays on each side of the ball during the season.
Ahead of scoring his first official NFL touchdown, he linked up with social media influencer Kai Cenat and others at the AMP (Any Means Possible) House.
During their meeting and live stream, Kai attempted to score free game tickets. He also gave Hunter a special end-zone celebration to use for his first-ever score with the Jaguars.
In one of the viral clips from their live stream, Kai jumped out of his chair to demonstrate a catch, followed by a series of dance moves. Hunter eventually joined the rest of the group to practice the moves for his first touchdown celebration.
Kai returned to his chair briefly to realize that people watching the stream liked that dance. Someone else in the room suggested the dance only worked if Hunter catches the ball in the end zone, but Hunter showed he could run it in and still do the moves.

Kai currently boasts over 15 million Instagram followers and over 19 million TikTok followers. As of this writing, Celebrity Net Worth claims he has a net worth of $35 million, derived from various income sources stemming from his social media success.
Jaguars fans on social media celebrated the collaboration after Hunter met up with one of the most popular and influential streamers.
"Hunter has such great self awareness and natural charisma. If he's great, he's going to be a mega star," one commenter wrote on Reddit.
"Kai's gonna IRL a jags game, book it," another Reddit commenter suggested.
"We gonna be watching fr sure," an X commenter wrote.
During the meeting, Kai also announced that Hunter had become the first athlete signed to Kai Cenat and the AMP (Any Means Possible) group's skin care brand, TONE.
The link-up is not only great for a charismatic and dynamic star like Hunter, but also for giving the Jaguars and the NFL publicity. In addition to having Hunter promote TONE, Kai also realizes that he and his celebration dance could end up in a future installment of the Madden NFL video game.
Hunter has a bit more time to practice those Kai-created celebratory moves. He and the Jaguars will begin training camp later this month, before playing their first preseason game on Saturday, August 9, against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
