Keep an eye out for these during the Bills' Week 3 preseason finale vs. the Buccaneers.
It's the preseason finale upcoming for the Buffalo Bills on Saturday as the team will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While that might not sound exciting, a lot is on the line for players on the roster. Starting jobs and depth roster spots are up for grabs.
That leaves plenty to look for during the contest.
With that, here are Bills Wire's three things to watch for during Bills vs. Bucs:
Wide receiver battle
Every summer there is a wide receiver battle and we have one again... and then some.
Head coach Sean McDermott did not say names, but said the depth chart for the wideout room at the top is set at the top three in his mind. Most presume those would be Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer and Keon Coleman.
That means multiple spots are open still. These wideouts will want to show their skills. This race currently includes the likes of Curtis Samuel, Tyrell Shavers, Elijah Moore and others.
It could be anyone at this point, in McDermott's words.
QBs (still)
It feels like Mitch Trubisky has the No. 2 QB spot behind starter Josh Allen locked up.
Trubisky is still worth a watch. Mike White could still stand to have a decent game, too. Shane Buechele is there as well.
A lot of the defense
The Bills are fresh off a 38-0 loss to the Chicago Bears in the preseason.
The defense was poor, in particular.
The secondary has become a concern. Tackling was terrible across the board in Chicago. The Bills need to be confident in their second-stringers. A few stops would be nice.
