Fall camp at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility has officially come to a close. Kentucky has shifted into game prep mode this week. The season truly is right around the corner. The defense knows what’s coming.
Kentucky’s focus is now on Toledo and the program seems to know how big of a challenge this will be. There is no looking ahead to the huge Week 2 tilt against Ole Miss at Kroger Field. The Cats are focused on the Rockets and getting last year’s taste out of their mouth.
I” think our guys right now they’ve got a mentality and a chip on their shoulder that they understand that they’ve got to get the taste out of how last year finished out of their mouth,” Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White said. “That’s the focus obviously. Toledo as a team is the focus, but we’ve gotta handle our business.”
Kentucky is ready to prove that they have flipped the roster and will return to playing winning football in 2025. It all starts next weekend at Kroger Field.
