Chelsea have reportedly made an enquiry to sign another Manchester City player

Chelsea Football club have apparently made an enquiry to sign another Manchester City player this summer transfer window.

Chelsea love a former or current City player, right? We can list them, and there are many, who have played for City before that are now at Chelsea. It’s all connected to Chelsea director Joe Shields being at City in the past and knowing a lot of their players. Head Coach Enzo Maresca of course used to be at City as well. So the connections are always there.

And there is a fresh one that’s come out today now as well.

According to Caught Offside today, Nottingham Forest have stepped up their ambitions in the transfer market with an official bid for Manchester City’s versatile youngster Rico Lewis.

Forest are not alone though. The report goes on to say that several Premier League clubs have now entered the conversation. Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are all believed to have made enquiries with Man City.

Chelsea remain optimistic in selling Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich this summer as the time ticks by. Other reports suggest it has been on the verge of collapse, but Ben Jacobs believes a deal is still on at the moment and talks continue.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has told us all to keep an eye on the Nicolas Jackson situation with Premier League and Italian clubs still keen on signing him and some are even in talks to.
