On Wednesday, word broke that the Vols had decided to change their uniform and gear provider giving fans the green light to share their unfiltered and oftentimes frustrated thoughts.
"Tennessee is switching back to Adidas as the school's apparel provider, @Brett_McMurphy reports," On3.com wrote on X.
Many fans were not happy about the news.
"Like... On purpose?" one fan asked.
"lol willingly? Such an unserious university," another said.

The Volunteers previously partnered with the famous apparel brand from 1995 to 2014, a time period that included a national title and a Heisman finalist season from Manning.
The past success wearing Adidas did little to deter fans who went in on the Volunteers.

"I had to check and see if this was fake lmao," one fan said.
"I applaud this move," a dissenter said.
"I was told Nike dropped Tennesee," another added.
"Switching sponsors more than QBs," another said.
"Feels like 98!" a positive fan said of the Vols' national title year.
"NOOOOOOOOOO," another said.
"Good thing Nico (Iamaleava) left that school," another said.
"Absolutely hate this," another said. "So wack," they added as comments against the move continued to roll in.
The news came days after the Vols landed a highly touted star over Michigan and Alabama. The Vols were also said to be close to naming a 33 touchdown star as their starting quarterback to take over for Iamaleava, who is now with UCLA.
The uniform change caught many fans off guard but Tennessee has historical precedence for winning with the three-stripe brand. Now it's up to head coach Josh Heupel and company to focus on taking care of business on the field.
