The USC Trojans out-recruited multiple Big Ten programs ahead of the 2025 season. Stacking more than 30 verbal commitments for the 2026 class -- and rising to the top of the recruiting rankings momentarily in the process.

For anyone sensing Lincoln Riley and his staff will lose their grip on these commits, one 2026 addition fanned the flames there.

Wide receiver Trent Mosley is a prized local pledge for this '26 class. He's heading to the Land of Troy via Rancho Santa Margarita Catholic from the Trinity League. Mosley told 247Sports' Jarrett Perez that each member of the 32-player class is locked in.

"I think they all have the mindset of sticking with USC and being committed," Mosley told Perez. "I feel all the guys are there for the right thing. They're coming in there, they know the coaches, they know how the coaches are going to improve them and develop."

Mosley is especially energized for the WR room once they all set foot on campus.

"And with all the other receivers committed, I think we'll all be good to work together, get to know each other and get each other better," Mosley said.

He's getting used to a USC-like atmosphere anyway. His incoming high school head coach is Carson Palmer -- the same Palmer who won the Heisman Trophy at USC during the 2002 season. Palmer is giving head coaching a try after starring in the NFL from 2003 to 2017. He earned three Pro Bowl nods and took the Arizona Cardinals to the 2015 season NFC title game.

Mosley concludes he's fully healthy from what he called a hamstring strain over the summer.
