The Minnesota Lynx (27-5) have the WNBA's best record and now turn their attention to clinching the top seed. They were edged out for that status by the New York Liberty last season. As for the Fever, the loss dropped them to the sixth-best record in the WNBA.
Next up, Dallas will face the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, while Indiana meets the Washington Mystics.
While the Fever have managed a .500 record without Clark, the team has lacked its characteristic offensive balance without its top playmaker, and they hope to have her back in action with the playoff race heating up.
Clark is averaging 16.5 points and 8.8 assists in 13 games, but has no set timeline for her return. She has missed 20 games this season.
