Record-breaking pop superstar Taylor Swift joined Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce for a highly-anticipated episode of their podcast “New Heights” Wednesday night, which saw over 1.3 million people tune in live during the YouTube premiere.
Just two days later, the insane numbers done on the podcast have been revealed by Front Office Sports.
The show, which features one of Taylor Swift‘s most in-depth interviews/discussions ever recorded, boasts 379 million views on Instagram, 61.6 million views on Twitter/X, 34.5 million views on TikTok and 15 million views on YouTube. Since Wednesday night’s episode, @newheightshow on Instagram has surpassed 3.3 million followers and the YouTube channel has gained 400k new subscribers.
Per FOS, Wednesday night’s “New Heights” featured the most concurrent podcast listeners ever.
Over the duration of the two-hour podcast, the trio discussed Swift’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, Swift reclaiming her entire music catalog and Taylor’s first impression both Jason and Travis.
The four-time Album of the Year winner also shared more details about how she and Kelce wound up meeting after the two failed to connect at a concert. Kelce famously attended a show at Arrowhead Stadium and said he brought a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but didn’t get the chance to meet Swift.
As it turns out, she still has not seen the original bracelet. But she certainly saw the video when Kelce took to his podcast to share how much he wanted to meet Taylor Swift that night.
“He threw a man-tantrum,” Swift said. “It’s so funny. … It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I want to date you!’ At first when I looked at it, I was like, ‘This dude didn’t get a meet-and-greet and he’s making it everyone’s problem.’ That’s what I thought at first. You realize, he didn’t even reach out to our management. When this podcast came out, I was like, did he ever reach out to be in the tents or did we know he was in the building?
“He came with Pat [Mahomes], and he thought that because he knows the elevator lady, that he could talk to her about getting down to my dressing room. … That’s how it works in 1973. But yeah, he really just was like, ‘I know a guy. I can figure this out.’”
In just two days, the Swift episode became the highest viewed podcast in “New Heights” history. It surpassed Sept. 6, 2023’s episode, which featured Travis, Jason and Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce. The Swift episode currently sits at 15 million views, while the Kylie episode sits at 8.6 million views.
