Clearly, throwing touchdowns and leading the Los Angeles Rams to the postseason isn’t enough for veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford.
SiriusXM announced on Tuesday that Stafford, a two-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl 56 champion, will co-host the weekly “Let’s Go!”football show beginning in September. Stafford joins Jim Gray, longtime Sports Illustrated and NBC columnist Peter King, and Las Vegas Raiders pass-rusher Maxx Crosby on the popular program.
Stafford, 37, called the opportunity “too good to pass up” and praised Gray as a sports media icon.
“Nothing is more important than winning football games, but Jim makes it so easy and fun to do this on Monday nights that I am really looking forward to it this season,” Stafford said in a press release.

Stafford replaces Bill Belichick, who departed for the UNC Tar Heels last December. Tom Brady and Larry Fitzgerald also previously co-hosted the show.
“Welcoming Matthew to the lineup alongside Maxx and Peter this season is a great addition,” Gray said. “His insight and energy will make the show a great experience for our listeners.”
The news comes as Stafford remains out with an aggravated disc in his back. Stafford has not practiced in training camp, though the Rams have not officially ruled him out for Week 1 yet.
Stafford enjoyed another strong season in 2024, completing 65.8% of his passes for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. The Rams won 10 of Stafford’s 16 starts and reached the NFC Divisional Round.
Los Angeles opens its season against C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans on Sunday, Sept. 7.
