New Chelsea signing Joao Pedro has admitted that there is only one thing you think about when you join a club like Chelsea.
The Blues are still trying to add more new attacking signings before the end of the transfer window this month, so more could join Pedro in this way of thinking.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea offered chance to sign Premier League centre back and it’s not Marc Guehi!
But first it seems they must sell more players and that has gone rather quiet so far this week. Christopher Nkunku is one of the players they still need to sell, and there has been some increased noise of a potential Bayern Munich move sparking back up for him this window.
Then if they can sell Nkunku, they can make a move to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. They’ve already been in talks for ages now but it has seemingly stalled and Chelsea need sales. Fabrizio Romano reminded us all yesterday that Chelsea are still trying to sign him.
Any new player arriving has a lot to live up to!

Joao Pedro has scored 5 goals in 5 games since he arrived at Chelsea during the Club World Cup and he’s had the dream start to his Blues career.
Any new signing will probably find it impossible to have an impact quite as good as that, but he’s been superb so far.
Pedro on why he joined Chelsea
“It’s because of the club’s history. Growing up in Brazil, I saw so many people watch football and support Chelsea. I was one of those youngsters. Chelsea had brilliant players in the past and still has great players now. It’s a big club, and that’s why I chose to join.
“When you join Chelsea, there’s only one thing to think about: winning titles. In every tournament you play, you represent Chelsea, and the goal is to win. That is my ambition—to win titles with Chelsea.
“It was a great moment to meet everyone. Miami felt similar to Brazil, which helped me settle in. I’d been talking to Andrey Santos on Instagram, asking about the team, the club, and he said really good things. So, I’m happy to have joined.”
