Sanders led all players in passing, completing 14-of-23 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns, besting Panthers veteran Andy Dalton on the night.
The 2025 fifth round pick elicited comments from well known influencers on social media ranging from Trae Young of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks to LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers to actor Jamie Foxx, who all supported the man many felt slipped way too far.
The Sanders camera angle video was shown as reports surfaced of his confrontation with a "negative" Cleveland area journalist. Browns QB Dillon Gabriel was given a skeptical report by one NFL reporter.
Sanders has clearly shown he has what it takes to move the crowd, and his team down the field in a preseason game. Now he will attempt to impart a similar effect on his coaches in hopes of challenging Joe Flacco and others for playing time this regular season.
