The Seattle Storm may have lost to the Las Vegas Aces on Friday, but they also got a major positive from the game.
Dominique Malonga, the team's No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, impressed in the 90-86 loss and made history in the process.
Malonga Is the Youngest WNBA Player To Do This
The 19-year-old rookie came off the bench for the Storm and made quite the impact, as she finished with 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting along with 12 rebounds. She led the team in both categories while only playing 25 minutes.
With her performance, Malonga became the youngest player to record a 20-10 game in WNBA history, per StatMuse and Polymarket Hoops. To be more specific, the French star was 19 years and 265 days old when she achieved the feat.

According to the Storm, Malonga is also only the second rookie in history to record at least 21 points and 11 rebounds off the bench in a single game.

Sure enough, fans were absolutely thrilled by Malonga's performance and new record. Many took to social media to hype up the teenager, who won't turn 20 until November 16.
"She is going to be dangerous," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Yea they really holding back the beast bc I have yet to see a bad game from her."
"She can be a top 10 player before Juju even enters the league. [Expletive] crazy her ceiling so high," a fan remarked.
"i think it’s important to note that she’s 19 years old she would literally be a freshman in college rn," a supporter added.
Others were also so hyped that they took a shot at Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark to highlight how good Malonga is.
"Highest ceiling in this draft but they want me to believe that the 24 yo in load management is generational," a social media user shared, referencing Clark.
A sixth follower stated, "Angel who? This young lady her got all the tools & is technically sound."
As Malonga's playing time and workload increase, she should be able to make more records as a young star. The Storm return to action on Sunday against the Los Angeles Sparks.
