It’s been a transformational offseason and training camp for Iowa State junior safety Jamison Patton, who has emerged as one of the most vocal leaders in a position group now without Beau Freyler and Malik Verdon.

Patton spoke on his ascent playing with the Cyclones and looked ahead to a season opener with Kansas State during a media availability on Monday afternoon.
