She’s not in the rotation, but she’s in her fashion bag.

Before the Phoenix Mercury crushed the Indiana Fever 95-60 on Thursday night, the team’s center, Kalani Brown, turned the arena tunnel into a fashion runway, drawing as much buzz off the court as her team did on it.

Wearing a bold and body-hugging look, Brown walked into the arena in a black-and-white striped halter-style crop top that exposed her midriff, paired with electric blue ruffled pants.

She completed the look with sleek white heels, a white crossbody bag, dark sunglasses and a silver bracelet.

Kalani Brown is Not in Rotation, But Still in Spotlight

The moment didn’t go unnoticed, especially after the Mercury’s Instagram account posted a video with the caption: “Your favorite’s favorite.”

Almost instantly, the post flooded with fan reactions.

“MRS BROWN IS GOING TO STEP EVERYTIMEEEE 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍,” one supporter gushed.

“OMG Lani looking fire 🔥,” another wrote.

A fan couldn’t hold back and said, “Eat them up sis!!!”

“She’s deep in her bag off and on the court 😮‍💨🔥,” someone else added.

One fan proclaimed, “A HOT NEW BOMBSHELL HAS ENTERED THE VILLA 👀.” referencing Love Island, a nod to the Mercury’s past social captions about her.

Several comments leaned into her body positivity and presence, with messages like “The body and the fit 😍” and “Very curvy 💝.”

Mercury Dominate Fever on Court

It’s not the first time the Mercury center has gone viral for her fashion sense. Just last month, she turned heads in a bright orange two-piece outfit before a game against the Dallas Wings, prompting the Mercury to caption it “A hot new bombshell has entered the villa,” the same phrase that fans echoed.

Though she hasn’t seen game action since July 23 due to a knee issue and has remained on the bench despite being healthy, head coach Nate Tibbetts told reporters earlier this week, “Kalani was in the rotation and as of now, she’s not, but we need her to stay ready.”

The Mercury followed up her stylish entrance with a statement win, powered by Alyssa Thomas, who made WNBA history with her third consecutive triple-double: 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

DeWanna Bonner, recently waived by Indiana, dropped 23 points on her former team. Satou Sabally added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Mercury. On the other side, Sophie Cunningham led the Fever with 18 points, while Caitlin Clark missed her ninth straight game with a groin injury.
