A blockbuster mock trade has the Phoenix Suns sending Jalen Green to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a superstar guard.
Blockbuster Mock Trade Sends Suns' Jalen Green to Hawks for Superstar Guard to Pair With Devin Booker originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Phoenix Suns had a busy start to their offseason as they traded Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets.
This was the first of many moves the franchise has made thus far this summer as they attempt to turn things around behind their star guard Devin Booker.
Of course, the Suns received Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the pick they used to select Khaman Maluach from the Rockets in the Durant trade and they also added other notable players in Mark Williams, Koby Brea and Rasheer Fleming this offseason.
While the Suns have already made extreme changes to their roster, more moves could be coming as they have been linked to many different players, including Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young.
Atlanta reportedly has yet to offer Young a contract extension this offseason and because of this, Bovada has the Suns having the fourth-best odds (+450) to acquire him this summer.

Suns could land Trae Young from Hawks for package centered around Jalen Green
In a potential trade, the Suns could send Green, Royce O’Neale and a first-round pick in 2026 and 2027 to the Hawks for Young.
Of course, this potential trade would not be able to be finalized until September 6 due to Green’s trade exception since he was dealt to the Suns earlier this offseason.
For the Suns, acquiring Young would be a massive boost to their starting lineup and he would also be a solid fit alongside Devin Booker in the backcourt.
Young is an elite three-point shooter and playmaker, two things the Suns could desperately use now that both Durant and Bradley Beal are gone.
Despite this, Phoenix may not want to move on from Green this early after they acquired him earlier this summer, though that could change during the season if his fit next to Booker does not work.
Atlanta may also want more in return for their superstar guard and they may target Ryan Dunn or another one of Phoenix’s young players alongside Green as part of a potential trade package.
Either way, it is likely a longshot for the Suns to land Young this offseason, though he would be a great addition to their lineup entering next season.
