Report: Bayern Munich pushing hard to sell Kim Min-jae

Is Bayern Munich looking to make a quick sale?

According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Julian Agardi (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich really seems to want to sell center-back Kim Min-jae, who started on the bench vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

The situation sounds kind of dire if you believe the report:

Kim Min-jae is currently the top candidate for sale for Bayern bosses. The club is putting pressure to get him sold and are ready to listen to every offer for the Korean defender. Upamecano and Tah are the clear starting centre-back duo going into the season. Saudi Arabia is unlikely to be Kim’s destination in case of a move. Bayern would be active on the market to replace him.

The Tah-Upamecano tandem has seemed like a foregone conclusion since Tah signed as a free agent. With Min-jae’s rumored distaste for being a sub, this could become a transfer frenzy. One problem could be be the defender’s salary, which is rumored to be €12 million per season, which ranks 11th on the team per Capology.
