Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have generated considerable hype since being drafted. Sanders is crafting a comeback story after his draft stock fell drastically, while Hunter is embarking on an NFL chapter that feels familiar.

Both are former Colorado players, and fans are eager to see them perform. And, the wait is almost over. But before kickoff, two reports emerged on Monday — one concerning Sanders and another on Hunter.

The Cleveland Browns released their first unofficial depth chart, and Sanders is listed as the fourth-string quarterback, according to Daniel Oyefusi. Joe Flacco leads the pecking order, followed by Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel.

Despite a notably stronger training-camp performance, Sanders remains behind the former Oregon signal-caller.

The situation is entirely different for his former teammate. Hunter is listed as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ starting wide receiver, but that’s not all — he’s also tabbed as a reserve cornerback on defense in the unofficial depth chart, per Adam Schefter.

This is significant news, as Hunter has long expressed a desire to play both sides of the ball. It remains to be seen how he fares.

Browns Add Another QB Into the Mix

Meanwhile, the Browns' management signed quarterback Tyler Huntley on Monday, adding another quarterback to the already crowded room.

This could be a precautionary move as three of the four players in the room are recovering from injuries. Sanders from arm soreness, while Pickett and Gabriel with their hamstrings.

But if Sander's position in the upcoming charts doesn't change, it could become a concerning issue for him to get play time.
