If the Dallas Cowboys' bluff doesn't work, the situation with Micah Parsons could deteriorate further.
Right now, Parsons has requested a trade, and Jerry Jones has said that's just how negotiations go.
The owner better hope he's right, because Parsons is the best young defender in football, and the Cowboys can't really afford to lose him.
If a trade does come to fruition, a surprise team could get involved, writes Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report.
He predicts the Cowboys could trade Parsons to the Arizona Cardinals.

The return package predicted by Knox: 2026 1st-round pick, 2026 2nd-round pick, 2027 1st-round pick, 2026 3rd-round pick, Edge Zaven Collins.
"With $37.9 million in cap space available, though, the Cardinals could probably make it work," Knox writes. "They could offload promising-but-inconsistent pass-rusher Zaven Collins to give Dallas back some depth while saving $4.4 million in additional cap space."
If the Cowboys are giving up Parsons, they have to get a haul that looks at least like this one.
Multiple first-round picks are a must, and here, they get two early-round picks beyond firsts.

Collins has a lot of talent and could at least fit right in on what is a promising Dallas defensive line unit even beyond Parsons.
It's certainly something that could give the Cardinals a jolt. They haven't quite gotten over the hump in the Kyler Murray era, but adding Parsons could change that.
It's not the classic marquee trade destination that often gets thrown around in such speculation, but that's part of what makes it so intriguing. Could Parsons be a legend in the desert? The Cardinals sure would like to find out.
