Travis Kelce is gearing up for his 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, coming off a Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The tight end contemplated retirement following the 2024 NFL season, but elected to return in 2025 to continue his chase for his fourth ring.

Since Kelce joined the Chiefs in 2013, head coach Andy Reid has been with him every step of the way. To celebrate the duo, Kansas City put together a tribute showing their journey through the years.

Chiefs Share Kelce, Reid's Journey Together

On Saturday, the Chiefs shared a post on Instagram with numerous images of Kelce and Reid together. The photos range from 2013, Kelce's rookie season, to 2025 training camp.

"How many months have you known each other?" the post read. "Months?!"

The Chiefs also left a hopeful message in the caption: "Here’s to many more years of this friendship 👏."

Kelce, Reid's Legendary Careers Together

After spending 14 seasons as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid joined the Chiefs on a five-year deal in 2013. That same year, Kansas City selected Kelce with the No. 63 pick in the third round of the NFL draft.

Kelce missed most of his rookie season alongside Reid due to injuries, but became a success the next season with Alex Smith at quarterback. Patrick Mahomes joined the team in 2017 and, like Kelce, didn't play much his first year. But the Chiefs began their dynasty in 2018, with the trio of Reid, Kelce and Mahomes leading them to five Super Bowl appearances and three wins.

Kelce and the Chiefs have already begun training camp for the 2025 NFL season. Their first game will be on September 5 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, facing Justin Herbert and AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers.
