First test and first setback for Atlético de Madrid, beaten 1-0 by FC Porto in their pre-season friendly.
The match was dominated by the Portuguese side, who looked sharper and much more inspired. As early as the 3rd minute, Giuliano nearly opened the scoring for Atlético after a free kick from Álex Baena. But after that, Diego Simeone's men quickly surrendered control to Porto.
