Indiana Fever React to Caitlin Clark’s Postgame Interaction With Jordan Chiles

For the sixth straight game, the Indiana Fever were without star point guard Caitlin Clark on Friday night against the Dallas Wings — yet they still pulled out their fourth consecutive win, improving to 16-12 on the season. While the team has frequently been without Clark this season, she remains one of the most vocal presences on the sidelines, consistently supporting her teammates — and they seem to feed off that energy. After the game, Clark took photos and spent time with U.S. Olympic gold medalist and gymnast Jordan Chiles, who most recently made waves on the global stage during the Paris Olympics alongside Simone Biles and the rest of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team.

Both Clark and Chiles have been two of the most prominent faces in women’s athletics over the past two years — and their achievements haven’t gone unnoticed. Clark was named Time Magazine’s Athlete of the Year, while Chiles earned a spot on Time's Women of the Year list.

Although Clark wasn’t selected for the U.S. women’s basketball team during her rookie season, Team USA — made up entirely of WNBA players — still went on to win gold, a result that Chiles and the U.S. women’s gymnastics team have also grown quite accustomed to.
