This would be fascinating.
DJ Moore is still a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears.
But this season, he may not only be a wide receiver.
In scrimmage action during training camp on Sunday, Moore lined up as a running back to the left of QB Caleb Williams in a shotgun formation.
Not only that, but the Bears ran a basic handoff for Moore going right, and he slithered his way for a touchdown.

It's a totally new look brought out by new head coach, and offensive mastermind, Ben Johnson.
Moore likely won't be in the backfield a lot, but that has the potential to be a legitimate weapon, especially given that he'd likely be a great receiving threat from that spot on the field.
The Bears had a brutally bad running game last year with D'Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson, and this offseason, they only added seventh-rounder Kyle Monangai.
It's certainly worth considering for Chicago how to get a little more juice on the ground.

In Moore's NFL career, he has 57 runs for 431 yards and a touchdown. Last season, he had 14 for 75, but they weren't a garden-variety running action like this.
Moore is a great receiver, of course, with 98 grabs for 966 yards and six scores in Williams' rookie season.
This is just a chance for the Bears to see if their 28-year old star can do even more. And on first look, it seems like Moore just might have this capability.
