Reds' trade deadline acquisitions will be available in time for the Speedway Classic

The Cincinnati Reds' trade deadline moves will take full effect Aug. 2 with Zack Littell and Miguel Andujar officially joining the team.

BRISTOL, Tenn. − The Cincinnati Reds' trade deadline moves will take full effect Aug. 2 with Zack Littell and Miguel Andujar officially joining the team at the Speedway Classic.

The Reds announced Aug. 2 that Littell and Andujar were added to the active roster. Also, T.J. Friedl (paternity list and restricted list) was reinstated from the restricted list, which his time on was a formality after he had maxed out his time on the paternity list.

In corresponding roster moves, the Reds optioned Connor Joe and reliever Lyon Richardson to Triple-A Louisville.

Joe had hit .186 through Aug. 1. Richardson had a 4.15 ERA this season with Cincinnati.

Outfielder/infielder Miguel Andjujar and starting pitcher Zack Littell, two additions at the trade deadline, joined the team in Bristol and were activated for the August 2 Speedway Classic.

The Reds' other trade deadline acquisition, Ke'Bryan Hayes, has started the last two games for the Reds.
