Watch live as Big Bear Snow Summit hosts the USA Cycling National Championship mountain bike race through Aug. 3.

Big Bear Snow Summit will host the USA Cycling National Championship mountain bike race through Aug. 3.

Big Bear is one of five races in the national championship, which includes the Fox US OPEN of Mountain Biking. The event is sponsored by Monster Energy and will feature both professional and amateur riders.

Besides watching epic downhill speed at Snow Summit this weekend, spectators can also enjoy a free concert by Orange County reggae band Common Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, following day three of the downhill race extravaganza.

The show will feature songs from the band’s 2017 Grammy-nominated album, "Lost in Paradise," as well as their most recent album, "CELEBRATION."

The USA Cycling National Championship race is coming to Big Bear this weekend.

Day parking is free for the event, and spectators are encouraged to hike or take the ski lift to the 10-Ply and Dual Slalom trails to watch the competition.

Other trails at the bike park are open during the competition, but beware not to get in the way of the competition.
