The Buffalo Bills delivered their fifth consecutive season with 11-plus wins last year, finishing with a 13-4 record. They reached the AFC Championship Game for the second time in five years, with Josh Allen winning NFL MVP. After falling just short of the Super Bowl, Buffalo will have a chip on its shoulder.
The Bills have consistently proven to be one of the best teams in the NFL, often overcoming injuries in the process. Even with a tough schedule ahead, they are Super Bowl contenders once again this season.
Let’s dive into our game-by-game Bills predictions for the regular season.
Week 1 vs Baltimore Ravens: Loss (0-1)
There will be fewer better NFL games in 2025 than the Bills versus the Baltimore Ravens. The perennial MVP favorites, Allen and Lamar Jackson, put up a great heavyweight fight nearly every time these two teams match up. Buffalo does have the home-field advantage, but the improvements made to the Ravens’ secondary this offseason could give them an edge. Baltimore pulls it out late, but it’ll be a much better game than the 35-10 blowout from the 2024 season.

Week 2 @ New York Jets: Win (1-1)
Sometimes, intradivisional matchups can be closer than many expect. There’s not a lot of reason to expect that in Buffalo’s Week 2 road matchup against the New York Jets. Not only are the Jets integrating new schemes on both sides of the ball, but they have a quarterback in Justin Fields who really struggles when pressured. The Bills take care of business in three quarters, cruising to their first win of the season.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 34, New York Jets 20
Week 3 vs Miami Dolphins: Win (2-1)
The Bills’ schedule in 2025 opens relatively season after the season-opener versus the Ravens. While Buffalo might not find it as easy to pressure Tua Tagovailoa as it used to be, given the improvements made to the Miami Dolphins‘ offense live, it won’t matter because of the other side of the ball. Allen and the Bills’ receiving corps should have a field day in Week 3.

Week 4 vs New Orleans Saints: Win (3-1)
It’s going to be another victory for the Bills, this time led by the defense. Likely facing rookie quarterback Tyler Shough, Buffalo’s front seven will cause all kinds of problems for the first-year signal-caller. The pressure results in a pair of interceptions, both of which the Bills’ offense turns into scoring drives. Buffalo cruises to a 3-1 start.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 35, New Orleans Saints 20
Week 5 vs New England Patriots: Win (4-1)
Momentum keeps building in Buffalo as the team quickly starts creating some distance in the AFC. The New England Patriots made substantial improvements on defense this offseason—enough that they should have more success containing Allen and company. However, a weak Patriots offensive line proves to be their undoing.

Week 6 @ Atlanta Falcons: Win (5-1)
As previously mentioned, the first half of the Bills’ schedule is pretty favorable for them. The Atlanta Falcons have the personnel to cause some issues for Sean McDermott’s offense. The issue for Atlanta is the inexperience of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and the vulnerabilities in their defense. Both prove to be Atlanta’s undoing, allowing the Bills to enter the bye at 5-1.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 31, Atlanta Falcons 28
Week 8 @ Carolina Panthers: Win (6-1)
One week to prepare for the Carolina Panthers is more than enough; two weeks is just unfair. While Bryce Young has made some real strides and the Panthers’ offense is underrated, it won’t matter because of what’s happening on the other side of the field. Buffalo controls this one from start to finish, coming out of the bye week to snag its seventh win.

Week 9 vs Kansas City Chiefs: Win (7-1)
The Bills have had the Kansas City Chiefs number in the regular season in recent years. They are going for their fifth consecutive regular-season win against Kansas City. Buffalo’s offensive line gives it a big advantage, really providing Allen the time he needs to spread the ball around. It will come down to the final possessions in the fourth quarter, but Buffalo wins again.

Week 10 @ Miami Dolphins: Win (8-1)
A trip to Miami early in September can give the Dolphins a real home-field advantage because of the heat. That’s not the case for the Bills’ November trip. Similar to the Week 3 matchup, the Bills’ passing game exploits Miami’s secondary. The Dolphins will have a few explosive plays, but it won’t be enough.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 27, Miami Dolphins 17

Week 11 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Loss (8-2)
Buffalo’s nine-game winning streak comes to an end at home. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the best teams in the NFC and by November, Chris Godwin will be healthy. With the Bills’ defense unable to consistently get to Baker Mayfield, he leads them to a victory over the Bills.
- Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28, Buffalo Bills 24
Week 12 @ Houston Texans: Loss (8-3)
The Houston Texans‘ defense is going to win a lot of games single-handedly in 2025. This matchup also provides Allen and the Bills with an excellent opportunity to work through things before the playoffs. It will likely be Allen’s worst performance of the season and some lapses in coverage prove costly in a road loss to the Texans.
- Prediction: Houston Texans 17, Buffalo Bills 13
Week 13 @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Win (9-3)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are always a formidable opponent, even if Aaron Rodgers is just a few days shy of his 42nd birthday in this Sunday afternoon matchup. Coming off a physically draining game against the Texans, Buffalo will have the benefit of 10 days to prepare for the Steelers’ defense. Fortunately, even a modest performance and protecting the football should be enough to sneak out of Pittsburgh with a victory.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 24, Pittsburgh Steelers 20
Week 14 vs Cincinnati Bengals: Win (11-3)
At this point in the year, Buffalo is closing in on an AFC East crown and a first-round home playoff game. It’s going to be a Sunday shootout against the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow will try to match the Bills score-for-score, but the talent and coaching differential between these two defenses swings the matchup.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 35, Cincinnati Bengals 31
Week 15 @ New England Patriots: Win (11-3)
The Patriots will make Buffalo fight for the division title, but it’ll be celebrated in Week 15. By this point in the season, the Patriots’ offense should be in a much better place with Drake Maye showing signs of becoming a top-10 quarterback. He just doesn’t have the supporting cast to keep pace with the Bills’ offense. Besides, the weather will make it so Allen and James Cook bulldoze their way to a win.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 20, New England Patriots 16
Week 16 @ Cleveland Browns: Win (12-3)
The Cleveland Browns might be the worst team in the NFL, positioning Buffalo to effectively sleepwalk to its 13th win of the season. Myles Garrett and Co. will certainly do their best to keep the Bills in check, but the Browns’ offense won’t get anything going.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 20, Cleveland Browns 6
Week 17 vs Philadelphia Eagles: Loss (13-4)
With a chance to clinch home-field advantage in the AFC, Buffalo falls just short at home. No team is better equipped than the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Bills, especially in the cold weather. Philadelphia wins the battles in both trenches in a game that will be defined by the run game. Allen gets a shot at a fourth-quarter comeback, but it falls just short.
- Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 24, Buffal Bills 21
Week 18 vs New York Jets
The Bills will have the No. 1 seed to play for in the regular-season finale. Meanwhile, the Jets will be in competition for a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. In front of a raucous home crowd, Allen and the Bills coast to a victory that clinches the AFC’s No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.
- Prediction: Buffalo Bills 28, New York Jets 17
