Bills have golden opportunity to trade for disgruntled NFC superstar

The Buffalo Bills should do whatever it takes to acquire star edge rusher Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys.

The Buffalo Bills have their corps of star players locked up for the foreseeable future after a long line of extensions this past offseason.

Greg Rousseau, Khalil Shakir, Christian Benford, and Terrel Bernard all got four-year extensions this past spring, and Josh Allen received a new long-term extension, as well. And while the Bills have several key contributors locked up, they should always be on the lookout for the potential to add another star, and an opportunity to do so has presented itself.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that star pass rusher Micah Parsons and his relationship with the Dallas Cowboys is close to being irreparable.

"The Micah Parsons-Cowboys relationship has deteriorated to the point where the star pass rusher is considering drastic measures which could include a trade request or even a declaration that he is severing his relationship with the team, per multiple league sources familiar with the situation," Russini reports. "The two sides remain far apart heading into the second week of training camp, and are not currently negotiating."

While the Bills would have to pay Parsons, he is one of the best edge rushers in the game and could be the piece that puts them over the top. If hit means sending multiple first round picks in exchange for his services, they should do it - especially because they consistently struggle at the top of the draft anyway. Send whatever it takes to get Parsons if he is truly available.
